Yesterday was a day from hell!
To say that nothing went smoothly would be more than just an understatement.
By days end, I wasn't defeated, just exhausted.
Today on the other hand, was completely the opposite.
The flooring people finished up what can only be described as an awesome job.
So awesome that I overpaid them on their original quote.
There work was just that good.
After a horrendous attempt yesterday at putting up shelving, we recovered nicely and were able to get almost all of the walls shelved.
Next up, floor gondolas!
Not only did we get shelving up on the walls, we had 2 vendors come in and merchandise their sections, in all over 35 feet of merchandise went up.
Tomorrow is the start of the holiday weekend, however that doesn't mean we won't be working here.
The electricians are supposed to be here to complete about 95% of their work
We're waiting for emergency lights that are due in Tuesday
We can't schedule final electrical until they are installed which will cost us 2 days.
There are lots and lots of little details that must be addressed before we can get inspected for our certificate of occupancy.
#1 is final electrical inspection.
Beyond that we need fire extinguishers to be hung, a transition installed from The Petcare Market to The Grooming Shoppe for handicapped accessibility, some hand rails in the bathroom and a few other odds and ends to be taken care of.
Hopefully by Wednesday we will ready for inspections.
We still have plenty to do, just not a long way to go.
Shabbat Shalom on Day 17.
