"This nation will remain the land of the free only so long as it is the home of the brave."

That was the time on the clock when I opened my eyes this morning.
A steady rain was falling outside.
The electricians had postponed their final work day here late yesterday.
I had made arrangements with the young man helping me set up shelving that we would finish up on Monday.
He had work scheduled with someone else for today.
I gently laid my head back down on my pillow.
The decision was made.
I was going to sleep in.
In fact, later in the day, I will text my cousin and cancel our ritual early Sunday morning coffee and sleep in 2 days in a row.
Dolly snuggled up against me.
I think she realized we were going to have some quality together time.
Life was about to take a break.

My phone rings.
"Mr. Davey"....."yo no tengo travajo oye"....."to quiere finito oye?"
Sorry for my bad Spanish.
Basically, because of the rain, my shelving helper was now free.
Just like that, my free day went out the window.
I debated for all of about 10 seconds.
The opportunity to keep things moving was just too great to pass up.
We will finish with all of the shelving and gondolas today.
1 more huge item off of the check list.
Sleeping in will just have to wait.
So what else is new?
