A Good Tired

“If you don’t like what you see in the mirror, don’t worry. You can overcome this quickly...”
~ Dr. Andy Fuehl
It's been a long day!
First day back after the Jewish holidays.
Even though this is an abbreviated week,it feels like I can finally get back to some sort of regular routine.
Hence,I am making sure that I write something..anything,just to keep the momentum going.
The other driver was out today, finishing up an extended weekend. This meant some extra duty for me. The 3 extra passengers on my early run should have added about 20-30 minutes to my morning. To minimize the difference in my schedule , I simply started 15 minutes earlier.
What I did not count o was 45-60 minute delays on the approaches to the GWB (George Washington ridge).
What a nightmare!
By the time I finished my 3 morning runs, I had been behind the wheel for 3 1/2 hours, sitting on my butt the entire time. With the exception of loading on 2 walkers and a wheel chair.I sat ,never getting a chance to stretch my legs.
It was like flying to Texas!
By the time I got back home, I had just enough time to check my emails, submit a couple of orders to a vendor, gobble down some lunch and a cup of coffee before heading back for an afternoon that would hopefully run more smoothly than the morning had.
Fortunately it did.
But the damage was done.
I'm pooped!
I still have some work to get done so I'm going to cut this short.
Gotta admit though....it feels good for a change!
