“When you get into a tight place
and everything goes against you,
till it seems you cannot hold on a minute longer, never give up then, for that is just the place and time the tide will turn.”
Harriet Beecher Stowe
My morning started off as if I had entered the ring with Mike Tyson.
Bam, bam, bam.
One body blow after another.
I found myself reeling and on my way to the canvas and the first round was barely a few seconds old.
One email after another, left me rocked .
This was not how I had hoped my Monday morning would start out.
I now had a choice to make.
I could cover up and continue to let more punches rain down on me.
I could run from the barrage, if I thought that possible.
Or I could let go, take the 8 count, regroup, gather my wits about me, and then get back to do battle.
The choice was an easy one.
I was not about to let the shock and awe that I experienced so early on to dictate the rest of my day .
I have brushed my self off and weathered the initial storm.
It's not as if what I was greeted with was so overwhelming.
I guess I was just caught a little off guard.
There was no damage done.
I certainly still have all my faculties about me.
Looking back at it, it was more like getting hit with a low blow that anything else.
It kind of takes the wind out of you for a short while, but it certainly is easy enough to come back from.
After catching my breath, it's time for me to get back to Round 2!
